50th newsletter! I have really enjoyed reading your newsletters Marg, thanks. As you know I have had trouble commenting. I really enjoyed the note about children's books, I love reading and searching for books to teach either history or good morals to children at our children story time in our church. I have my 94 year old mum living with me now and am trying to interest her in not kindy but primary/junior aged books as she is, how do I say, ageing. Kathy has bookcases full of good children's books as she worked in childcare and is home schooling her kids. Enjoy your week.

Thanks so much for reading my newsletter and taking the time to comment. I really appreciate it. Kate DiCamillo had written quite a lot of children’s books and I really like them.

Congrats on your 50th newsletter! Thanks for the reminder about children’s books. My fondest childhood memories are of being read to, and my fondest adult ones are of reading to my son. No grandkids to read to, but there’s always reading to me! Looking forward to the book club!
